We take great pride in the commitment and safe care given each child who attends our camp. Adult supervision is provided on and off the courts. Our camp environment cultivates and nurtures each camper's confidence. The warm and loving atmosphere creates memories of tennis, fun and friends that last a lifetime.

Steve Proulx and Susan Reeder, a husband and wife team, along with Aimee Reeder, are the Owners and Directors of the Carmel Valley Tennis Camp.

Our staff is composed of college aged counselors, some of whom have been campers at CVTC in the past. Our tennis counselors are playing college tennis and bring a wealth of tennis experience to the camp.

Tereza Bekerova – 1st summer; rising Junior at University of Utah playing #1 singles and doubles; ranked #77 singles and #9 doubles D1 this year; prior to Utah ranked 94 in juniors ITF and 800 WTA; Exercise Science major working towards physical therapy or chiropractor; Hometown Prague, Czech Republic


Hang Lak Choi – 1st summer; rising Junior at Lees McRae College (Division 2); Plays #4 singles and #2 doubles; Athletic major; currently living in Hickory, North Carolina; Hometown is Seoul, South Korea, but my family moved to United States in 2004


Beatriz Signori – 1st summer, rising Senior at Tennessee Wesleyan College, plays# 1 singles and #1 doubles; AAC player of the year 2012 to the Sportsmanship Team, International Business Major, Hometown Sao Paulo, Brazil

Poppy Sparrow – 1st summer; Full time, qualified Graphic Designer & Digital Printer; studied at Natcoll (NZ) and Apprenticeship (NZ); Part time children's Tennis Coach and tennis enthusiast; Hometown Ashburton, New Zealand
