CIT Information

Counselor in Training (CIT) at Carmel Valley Tennis Camp

Who is eligible:Campers who have completed 10th or 11th grade.

 

Cost: Regular Camp tuition

 

Purpose:

To give older campers a counselor in training program for future employment as a camp counselor

 

Results:

Having practical experience that participants can use in a job environment and/or on college applications

 

Campers in the CIT program will participate in the normal CVTC Program (tennis lessons, match play, off court activities and evening activities).

 

In addition, they will work with a(n)

 

• Tennis counselor mentor - assist on the court 1 hour per day in one of their non lesson times with another tennis group
• Tennis counselor/coach mentor – learn about coaching during Team Tennis
• Evening Activities – participate in the running of the Evening Activities

 

Campers in the program will receive a CIT manual and meet with the Program Director

 

Interested campers will complete the CIT questionnaire and register for CVTC Session(s).
